Pricing questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The AI detector is free with no account for up to 300 words, no limit, and it never spends words. For the other four tools, every new account gets 1,000 free words in its first month (up to 1,000 words per run), then 300 words a month, resetting on your signup date, with up to 300 words per run. Signed in, the detector checks up to 1,500 words at a time. No card required.
What does "words per run" mean?
It's the longest single passage a tier will rewrite in one go. Free handles 300 words (1,000 in your first month), Starter 1,200, Pro 2,500 — about a full essay — and Ultra 6,000. Holding top-up words lifts it to 2,500 if your plan's limit is lower (on Starter, a run longer than 1,200 words is allowed when your top-up words cover all of it, and is paid from them). Longer documents still work; you just run them in sections.
Do unused words roll over?
No. Your allowance refills in full at the start of each month and unused words don’t carry forward — the same way every tool in this category works. Pick the tier that matches a typical month rather than your busiest one; you can move up at any time.
What does PRO unlock?
Any plan unlocks all 21 PRO styles across the five tools, the em-dash stripper, and Match my style. The free tier covers each tool's default style only.
Monthly or yearly — which should I pick?
Yearly is exactly half the price of paying monthly for twelve months, so it's the better deal if you already know you'll be writing all year. Monthly cancels any time. Both give the same words and the same features.
What is the refund policy?
All purchases are final. That's why everything is free to try first — 1,000 free words in your first month, then 300 every month, and a free AI detector (300 words per check, no account), no card — so you know exactly what you're buying before you pay.
How does billing work?
Secure checkout and tax are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, so that’s the name on your statement. Plans renew automatically until you cancel, and cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
