## What Humanit is

Humanit takes AI-generated text (from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or any model) and rewrites it so it reads like a human wrote it. Unlike basic paraphrasers that swap synonyms, Humanit restructures at the sentence level — varying length and rhythm (burstiness), removing the stock AI vocabulary and discourse markers that detectors flag, preferring concrete detail, and restoring the natural imperfections of human writing.

Rewords text while preserving meaning, in six styles: Standard, Formal, Casual, Creative, Shorter (trim 30–50%), Expand (add 30–50%).

Condenses long text in five formats: Short (2–3 sentences), Medium (one paragraph), Long (2–3 paragraphs), Bullets (5–8 points), Key Points (3–5 takeaways). Preserves source facts; never invents information.

### 5. Grammar Checker — /grammar
Fixes grammar, spelling, and punctuation and reports every change with a category (grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, style) and a one-line reason. Four modes: Light, Standard, Strict, Clarity.

## How AI detection and humanization work

AI detectors rely most on perplexity (predictability of word choice) and burstiness (variation in sentence length); AI text tends to be low on both. Humanit's humanizer raises both — varying sentence length aggressively, breaking rule-of-three list patterns, cutting banned AI-tell words (delve, tapestry, leverage, moreover, robust, seamless, etc.), and adding personal voice. Ultra mode restructures clauses rather than substituting words, producing the most human-like, detector-resistant output. No tool can guarantee 100% across every detector version, so Humanit includes a detector to verify results.

## Privacy

Text is sent to Google's Gemini API only to produce the requested result and is never used to train any AI model. Humanit runs no servers that store user content beyond the request. Free tier usage is tracked per account to enforce daily limits (3 runs/day, 500 words per run).
